- Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and experience in social work assessment and intervention, within a rehabilitation or mental health (recovery) setting.
- Demonstrated post-graduate clinical experience in the assessment and management of clients with an acquired brain injury, in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Experience in multi-trauma rehabilitation, acquired brain injury and/or mental health would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated well developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stake holders throughout all organisation levels.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
- Hold a valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and be willing to travel for work purposes.
