Come and work in the lovely Shellharbour area. The team leader role is responsible for the management of a small team and clinically covers the medical surgical ward. You’ll lead psychosocial assessments, counselling, and advocacy for patients and their families, ensuring optimal health outcomes through a client-centred approach.
As a senior member of the team, you will supervise staff, mentor students, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Your leadership will contribute to seamless care coordination, compliance with professional standards, and support for diverse communities. This role also includes contributing to accreditation processes, maintaining accurate records, and participating in on-call and weekend services as required.

A little about us.
Shellharbour Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is a busy acute care facility which provides emergency services, elective surgical services, general medicine, antenatal and primary family health care, satellite renal dialysis, and adolescent and adult mental health services on site. It's an accredited healthcare facility with the Australian Council on Health Care Standards (ACHS) and is recognised as providing a high standard of care to the community.
Located on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, Shellharbour is known for it's spectacular coastal scenery and is only a little over a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney.
