Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications in Bachelor of Social Work and eligibility to be a member of AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute inpatient mental health setting with a minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
- Demonstrated high level clinical skills and competency in care planning, care coordination, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, risk assessments (Child protection and Domestic Violence screening) and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience with the Mental Health Act 2007, Guardianship Act 1987, National Disability Insurance Scheme and the National Mental Health Standards 2010.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with trauma informed care and Recovery oriented practice.
- Demonstrated leadership, knowledge, experience and a commitment with Social Work staff and student supervision (Third and Fourth Year) and extensive experience, skills and abilities to work effectively as member of the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment with quality improvement projects and evidence based practice.
- Current unrestricted drivers licence valid in NSW.
