- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- A minimum of 2 years satisfactory full-time post-graduate experience, including recent demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner in an Australian Health System, including at least 3 months in general and emergency medicine at the commencement of the new Clinical Year.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning, teaching, research, quality improvement and clinical leadership in medicine, with current Basic Life Support Accreditation.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills in dealings with patients, team members and supervisors
- Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in a clinical setting within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to apply clinical knowledge and concepts in practical situations in the context of multiple competing priorities
