What you'll be doing
- A degree in Healthcare, Science, Research or academic setting or equivalent significant work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated advanced ability to work with senior researchers, academic leaders and representatives of other government and/or non-government agencies.
- An understanding of the legal and regulatory environment for research including demonstrated knowledge of the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework, Privacy legislation, The Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research and other guidelines relevant to the conduct, management, governance and compliance of research.
- Experience in developing processes and procedures within the context of organisation policy and regulatory frameworks and delivering education programs.
- Excellent advanced interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible in approach to work and adapt to the changing needs and competing demands of the Research Office.
- High level attention to detail with demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks and the competing priorities and needs of multiple stakeholders; and to meet strict deadlines.
