About the Role

The purpose of this position is to provide project and administrative business support and to support and conduct research programs for the Sydney Institute for Women, Children and their Families.  

   

This position is an integral member of the Institute and will provide broad project, administrative/business and research support to the Institute and its affiliates, through reviewing and supporting; grant applications and ethics applications, supporting the development and administration of education programs, supporting the delivery of the Institute communications plan, managing and coordinating webinars and events, and supporting the coordination of various research programs.

  

The role will require the position to work on multiple projects at a given time across diverse areas of research, education and project management. This position will help build research capacity in SLHD and with affiliates and partners of the Sydney Institute for Women, Children and their Families.

Ideal Candidate

  • Health research related degree and/or demonstrated previous research related experience in clinical, public health or health services research.
  • High level organisational, time management and problem solving skills, the ability to successfully manage competing tasks, and apply project management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and delivered to a high standard within required timeframes. 
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in providing high level business administrative support in research and education and in maintaining effective systems to manage and coordinate research at the operational and strategic level.
