What you will bring to the role
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science with Post graduate qualification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner and a current I14 Radiation Licence from the NSW EPA.
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge and clinical expertise in MRI with the ability to perform a full range of complex examinations.
- Experience and proven ability to fully manage all aspects of a sectional modality. This will include the ability to establish workflows and procedures to safely maximise patient throughput.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, instruct and mentor other MRSs, undergraduates and other health professionals
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, communication and interpersonal skills to supervise teams and work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated well developed problem solving and clinical reasoning skills.
- Experience in creating and maintaining quality assurance and audit systems to ensure accurate documentation on clinical and non-clinical data.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
