An opportunity is available for a keen, motivated, and experienced MR radiographer, looking to further develop skills and experience in focussed clinical service and leadership within the specialist modality. Experience within tertiary referral hospital, development of clinical scan protocols and performance development amongst staff members is expected.

What you'll be doing
The purpose of this position is performing Medical Imaging procedures to a high standard, and ensuring that the production of diagnostic imaging is made available to the clinician.


People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Current AHPRA registration to work as a Radiographer, with the MRPB of Australia and a valid EPA Radiation Licence.
  2. Establishment of clinical protocols, manuals, quality assurance and departmental Continuous Quality Improvement activities.Ability to perform complex clinical procedures within specialist modality with a high degree of competency.
  3. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
  4. Act as an appropriate and effective role model and promote a culture and supporting practices that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated professional behaviour and interactions with patients/clients and employees (commensurate with years of experience).
