Senior Radiation Therapist
- Graduate of a course in Medical Radiation Science - Radiation Therapy, accredited by the Australian Institute of Radiography and eligible for licensure by the Department of Environment & Climate Control (DECC) NSW and eligible for registration by the Federal regulatory authorities.
- Demonstrate the capacity to translate knowledge and experience to Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and other emerging techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead a team and manage a treatment unit or other area of radiation therapy using effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrate commitment to the welfare of patients, carers and staff.
