Reporting to the Manager Learning & Development you will meet the following selection criteria:  

  1. Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating a range of learning and development strategies, policies and programs, including competency based courses and blended learning.
  2. Excellent planning, research and project management skills and the ability to obtain manage and interpret data to effectively meet learning needs.
  3. Experience in e-learning design, Learning Management Systems and advanced PC and Microsoft suite.
  4. Experience in the development of leadership, management and cultural change programs, and programs that support staff wellness.
  5. Demonstrated ability to encourage and motivate staff, manage conflict and provide continuous support to staff who may come from a broad range of roles and have varying backgrounds and experiences.
  6. Demonstrated people management skills, including providing staff support, staff development, performance management and the early identification of unacceptable workplace behaviours and taking appropriate action such as investigation, resolution and monitoring of harassment and bullying, grievance issues and conflict resolution.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team with proven team building, relationship building and networking skills that promote a respectful workplace.
  8. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. social/human sciences, education, organisation development, psychology etc.) and/or equivalent relevant experience.

Managers are required to implement actions that either prevent or minimise the risk of unacceptable behaviours, ensuring unacceptable behaviours such as bullying, harassment and victimisation are identified as early as possible and responded to and effectively managed.
