Spearhead implementation of the NSW Health Research and Innovation Navigator — a vital program aimed at connecting researchers, industry, and healthcare providers. In this role, you'll lead efforts to strengthen national and international collaboration and partnerships, unlock new opportunities, and accelerate research impact across the state.
Join us and play a key role in growing and enriching NSW's capability in health and medical research, improving outcomes for patients and communities.
This role is located within the Office for Health and Medical Research of the Clinical Innovation and Research Division in NSW Health and involves collaboration with other government agencies, non-government organisations and industry bodies
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 p.a plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
Drive the NSW Health Research and Innovation Navigator service, by:
- Providing a first point of contact and strategic management for stakeholders wanting to connect with the NSW health and medical research sector.
- Fostering and maintaining strong relationships and networks that support you to manage a coordinated and collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and partnerships that focus on medical research and medical technology.
- Staying abreast of health and medical research capabilities and priorities in NSW and across the world.
- Managing the project cycle, including developing project plans, identifying and coordinating resources, managing budgets, and meeting reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
- Ensuring good record keeping enabling corporate knowledge retention, reporting, and evaluation.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the NSW Health system and the health and medical research sector.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service.
- A commitment to effective use of records, information and knowledge management functions and systems.
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
