Selection Criteria
- Must hold qualifications recognised for registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia (AHPRA) and hold general registration with AHPRA as a Podiatrist with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of care for people with diabetes.
- Demonstrated high level verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences; medical specialists, nurses, primary health care professionals, patients and their families/carers.
- Demonstrated ability to independently problem solve, apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as per of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and research focused on patient/client outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
