  1. Post-graduate Tertiary qualifications in a health or planning-related discipline and/or extensive experience in service planning at a Facility, LHD or state level, including processes to support asset strategic planning and infrastructure development
  2. Demonstrated senior experience in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating services at a strategic, facility, program and service level. In addition to experience in the use of NSW Health Pathology, Ministry of Health and other data systems to support clinical service planning and pathology service advice
  3. Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships and working effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  4. High level analytical, critical appraisal, interpretation and problem solving skills
  5. Demonstrated successful project management skills, well-developed abilities to ensure effective utilisation of resources and experience in managing many projects and meeting deliverables within identified timeframes
  6. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including well- developed presentation skills, experience in preparing high level comprehensive reports and a proven ability to develop effective working relationships
  7. Demonstrated ability to communicate, liaise and negotiate with clinicians, managers and staff in pathology services and/or local health districts, and in other government and non-government agencies
  8. An up to date understanding of statewide directions in health services policy, planning, organisation, funding and delivery of services. In addition to experience in complex planning tasks to ensure co-ordination of diverse inputs and achievement of outcomes
