Senior Exercise Physiologist - Head to Health Kids Hub
Child & Family Youth Services Directorate

About the role

New service. New team. New approach.
You’re invited to take a lead role.

The Head to Health Kids Hub is a new community based service providing mental health and wellbeing support for children up to the age of 12 years with mild to moderate emotional, behavioural and mental health challenges, and their family. This new service is part of a nation-wide roll out of Kids Hubs jointly funded by NSW Health and the Australian Government.

Located in Orange with satellite services in Bathurst, we’ll use flexible and creative approaches to increase the well-being and functioning of our clients, guided by a new model of care within a multidisciplinary framework.

As a Senior Exercise Physiologist at the Head to Health Kids Hub, you’ll complete child centred assessments, contribute to multidisciplinary case formulation and deliver treatment that will increase the well-being of local children, and build capacity within their families to sustain better health.

You’ll work individually and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and external health providers to provide a flexible service that meets the needs of our clients and community where it’s most needed.

You’ll also use your clinical expertise to help plan and shape the future direction of this new and dynamic service.

This is a temporarily funded position until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension subject to funding.
