  1. Relevant degree or significant experience in providing high-level executive support and management experience in health, research or an academic environment.

  2. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  3. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with an ability to exercise sound judgment in a complex environment.

  4. Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated experience in editing and writing a range of documents including high-level correspondence and visual presentations and advanced computer skills.

  5. Demonstrated high level analytical, planning, and conceptual skills with the ability to succinctly communicate complex information.

  6. Demonstrated exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, complex and varied requirements.

  7. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

  8. Experience or understanding of ethics requirements, grant systems, and high-level competence with desktop software, including exceptional experience in managing complex and high volume email correspondence.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

 

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
