Senior Evaluation Officer

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as health or social science, epidemiology, public health, or research methodology.
- Demonstrated high level skills and experience leading the design and development of evaluation and research projects and health reports, and communicating outcomes through both oral and written mediums such as in peer-reviewed literature and conferences.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting and managing data collection and storage, the analysis of data, including high level statistical analysis, quality assurance of products and the interpretation and presentation of population health related information. And experience and understanding of ethical processes including developing documentation and securing approval.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills and experience with statistical software applications and a willingness to develop competence in new data sets and software packages and technologies including online reporting technologies.
- Demonstrated effective, written and verbal communication skills including, negotiation, motivational and change management skills, with a focus on facilitating and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated high level understanding in identifying emerging and sensitive issues proactively and providing appropriate advice to management in relation to health issues, including population health issues.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with management and staff within and across teams to achieve organisational outcomes, while working flexibly in a rapidly changing environment.
- Hold a current driver’s license to drive in NSW and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes, including driving long distances and occasional overnight stays
