The Security Operations Manager/ Senior Security Officer is responsible for the supervision of security operations to ensure effective and efficient delivery of security services through effective rostering, supervision and training. The position will assist the Manager, Security Services at Randwick Campus with maintenance of electronic security systems and support  security staff with the provision of an efficient, safe, and secure environment for all staff, patients, visitors, stakeholders, and property.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Are you currently employed within NSW Health or an Affiliated Health Organisation such as War Memorial, Calvary or St Vincent’s?
  2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in security risk management or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of the processes and relevant policies in relation to security operations.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in performing a range of management and administrative tasks within allocated timeframe.
  5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service approach.
  7. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to meet current and emerging business needs.
  8. Demonstrated ability to determine priorities for others and delegate tasks to achieve work objectives.
  9. Current Class 1A security licence and drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
