School-Link Program Manager

Appropriate tertiary qualification in a health or related field and/or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience at a senior level.

Proven experience at a senior Policy officer level within the public sector including capability in cross-agency coordination, project management, issues management and resource management.

Demonstrated understanding of the Australian health system and/or, extensive understanding of the education system and its role in support student mental health and wellbeing.
-
Demonstrated understanding of the determinants of children and young people’s mental health and the role of public sector mental health services and service partners.
-
High-level conceptual, organisational, strategic and analytic skills and the capacity to make informed decisions on complex issues.

Demonstrated ability to research, develop, implement and evaluate programs, with a high-level understanding of performance measures relevant to the mental health sector.

Excellent oral and written communication skills including interpersonal, group, consultative, persuasion and negotiation skills.
