School-Link Coordinator - Health Manager Level 2 - Mental Health SESLHD

Selection Criteria: 

1. Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Social Work (Level 4), Occupational Therapy (Level 4) and eligible for membership of an appropriate professional body, equivalent experience or a combination of study and experience and Current NSW unrestricted Class C driver’s license.
2. Demonstrated experience in negotiating effectively with teams of health professionals, external key partners and working with schools.
3. Well-developed understanding of the interface between health services and schools with knowledge of State and National policy directions in child and adolescent mental health and of the NSW mental health and school welfare systems.
4. Knowledge and experience of health services for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioural and social problems.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of the concepts of promotion, prevention, early intervention and evidence based practice in mental health.
6. Proven experience in change management, planning, evaluation projects and experience in developing and implementation of educational programs.
7. Demonstrated experience in project management and evaluation of school link initiatives and identified school based training.
8. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills, computer and work processing skills.
