Selection Criteria
- Be of Aboriginal descent and accepted to work within the far west communities with the ability to communicate with Aboriginal people from various communities. (NB applicant’s race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, NSW).
- Interest and basic understanding of a dental assistant role including participation in Health Academies.
- Willingness to learn new skills and participate in workplace and formal learning.
- Ability to talk to a range of people and have basic reading and writing skills.
- Be a current year 10 Student at either: Broken Hill High School or Willyama High School.
