  1. Registered as a Dentist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  2. Significant hospital based experience in paediatric dentistry (minimum 50% over 3 years preferable)
  3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  4. Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals
  5. Ongoing commitment to further education and professional development and demonstrated ability to teach, with a willingness to participate in the teaching of dental students, dental staff and other clinical staff
  6. Understanding of research methodology or research experience and a willingness to undertake research proposal
  7. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
