SCHN- Clinical Psychologist
Selection Criteria
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology; registration with Psychology Board of Australia AHPRA and practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology or eligible to progress to same
- Clinical skills and expertise with mental health problems of child and adolescent, including experience in treatment of eating disorders
- Understanding of psychological issues that can arise in children and young people diagnosed with an acute or chronic illness
- Demonstrated understanding and application of a range of evidence-based treatments for a range of psychological disorders
- Experience working with families, preferably with family therapy training and/or experience in the Maudsley model of family based treatment for Anorexia Nervosa.
- Experience or capacity to facilitate treatment group programs
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
