  1. Tertiary qualifications in a health discipline or equivalent extensive recent clinical experience in a complex healthcare setting

  2. Formal qualifications in an ethics related discipline or degree preferred, but not essential.

  3. Demonstrated experience in facilitation and coordinating stakeholders discussions with conflicting views to reach consensus of opinion

  4. Demonstrated high level of conflict resolution, negotiation and effective communication skills with proven experience in preparation of briefing papers, reports and correspondence.

  5. Proven ability to work in a team where knowledge and experience is shared across areas of expertise

  6. Demonstrated experience of developing and implementing policy and procedures in clinical ethics and research integrity
