Where you'll be working
The Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC) is committed to providing leadership in safety and quality to improve health care for patients in NSW. The primary focus of the CEC is to promote and support improved clinical care, safety and quality across the NSW public health system, and to meet functions specified by the Minister for Health. The CEC Strategic Plan places priority on delivering high performing reliable systems and ensuring safety and quality in the provision of healthcare for ‘every patient, every time’ is consistent across NSW Health.
What you'll be doing
The Safety System Capability Implementation Lead works directly with and between local NSW Health Entities to enable sustainability of local implementation of CEC's safety system capability initiatives (including, but not limited to the Safety & Quality Essentials Pathway).

Employment Type: Full Time - Exempt for a period up to June 2025
Position Classification: Health Manager Level 4
Remuneration: $141,974.00 - $169,151.00 per annum, plus superannuation
Hours Per Week: 40 (38hrs Standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

Selection Criteria
- Extensive experience of sustainably implementing complex programs into healthcare organisations, to achieve measurable change, or relevant Tertiary qualifications.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in safety improvement, facilitation and coaching skills and extensive experience in their application in the context of multidisciplinary health care settings.
- Knowledge and experience in facilitating adult learning and experience with mixed modes of educational delivery e.g. face-to-face, e-Learning, website tools, webinars, mentorship.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in managing strategic relationships, with multiple stakeholders and diverse needs to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Highly developed written and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret highly complex information from numerous sources.
- Highly developed skills in interpretation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative information from multiple sources for monitoring, improvement, evaluation and providing strategic advice
- Availability to travel within NSW, including overnight stays to facilitate education workshops.
