Selection Criteria

  • Qualifications in Business or equivalent and/or relevant experience supervising a team in a high volume transaction process orientated role within a large organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience with supervising staff to achieve performance targets and to address processing backlogs, including capacity to identify and escalate issues affecting the performance of the team.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication and consultation skills, including the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and to facilitate organisational wide change as it relates to billing.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet competing demands, including a commitment to set and deliver on timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop a flexible team of billing staff to meet current and future organisational demands.
  • Experience with implementing and managing quality assurance initiatives to support the delivery of timely billing service.
  • Excellent computers skills, particularly with Excel and accounting systems such as Oracle, PBRC, and other billing systems combined with strong administrative skills and the capacity to provide attention to detail.
  • Proven capacity to exercise independent action within constraints set by management and to manage resources to deliver an optimal outcome for the department.
