Join our Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) – a short-term care service designed to support older individuals in regaining independence and functionality following a hospital stay.
We’re seeking a Residential Services Assistant to become part of our compassionate and collaborative team, where you’ll help deliver high-quality, person-centred care and enrich the daily lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist the care team and domestic assistants with daily care routines
- Supporting residents during mealtimes and contributing to meal preparation
- Helping residents transfer safely to and from appointments
- Engaging with residents during community outings and group activities
- Collaborating with allied health and nursing staff to support transitional aged care services
Key Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A reliable, responsible approach to your work
- Genuine compassion and empathy for older individuals
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to support others
- Relevant Certificate or equivalent experience
