  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (social science, psychology, public health, health communication, or other related discipline) with post-graduate qualifications or equivalent research experience, or a combination of study and work experience.

  2. Understanding of issues relating to vaccination acceptance.

  3. Excellent organisational skills including planning and attention to detail and with demonstrated experience (two years or more for SRO) in project management.

  4. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to be an effective team member in a demanding and high volume work environment.

  5. Demonstrated experience (substantial for SRO) in conducting primary research activities including literature reviews, preparation and management of ethics applications, participant recruitment, data collection, and data analysis.

  6. Demonstrated experience (substantial for SRO) with qualitative research, including preparing for and conducting interviews and/or focus groups, and qualitative data analysis; and with quantitative research, including survey design and quantitative data analysis

  7. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including experience (high level for SRO) with assisting in producing high quality reports, drafting manuscripts.

  8. Demonstrated high level computer skills including using the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Ideally experience conducting statistical analysis using SPSS or similar, and qualitative analysis using NVivo or similar.
