working with us will ensure your professional life is provided every opportunity to succeed and develop in your chosen career role.

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean and Blue Mountains and Lithgow Region.

Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

Nepean Hospital is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Virtual After Hours Palliative Care Team. In this innovative role, you will provide expert nursing support and symptom management advice to patients, carers and health professionals in the community—after hours and from a virtual care platform. This position is a unique opportunity to help ensure patients receiving palliative care at home feel supported, safe and connected during some of their most vulnerable moments.

As a Virtual Palliative Care Registered Nurse you will provide timely clinical advice and emotional support via telephone or video consults, triage symptoms, recommend care strategies and escalate urgent issues appropriately. This will see you work closely with the broader Palliative Care team, GPs and community services.

Join the team today and contribute to a compassionate model of virtual care that supports dignity and comfort at home.
