About the Role

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.

 

We are seeking skilled Registered nurses to join our team to provide patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. We consist of a predominantly Plastics, Melanoma and Vascular and have exciting new opportunities to further education and training.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). 
  • Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking. 
  • Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster. 
  • Participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
