You’ll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

  • Provide compassionate, individualised palliative care within a supportive health service, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes and support their goals.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

 

 

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the principles of palliative care.

  2. Experience in palliative care/oncology or related field.

  3. Post graduate qualifications in palliative care/oncology or related field, or working towards same.

  4. Commitment to ongoing education and upgrading of professional skills and competencies.

  5. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of therapeutic communication principals.

  6. Working towards participation in the After Hours Palliative Care Telephone Support Service.
