A vacancy exists in the Northern Beaches early psychosis service for an experienced and skilled mental health nurse. Northern Beaches Early Psychosis Intervention Service (EPIS) a community-based service providing care and treatment for young adults aged 16-24 with a first episode psychosis and their families.

What you'll be doing
The role entails care coordination of a small case load.
This includes: Counselling, psychoeducation, advocacy, carer support, family work, group work, and liaison with external agencies and care providers.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse – Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Registered Nurse with advanced clinical expertise in working in a community setting with people with complex mental health presentations.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the assessment, formulation and treatment of young adults’ mental health problems and family relationship problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work within an MDT with high level of autonomy.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the teaching and learning capacity of the team including student supervision and training, and quality improvement.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.
