About the Role:
Muswellbrook Hospital is seeking committed and innovative Registered Nurses who are eager to make a difference in patient care and support the health of our vibrant community. While your primary focus will be on the Medical & Surgical wards, this role offers the exciting potential to expand into Emergency and peri-operative services in the future. The ideal candidate will bring recent experience in an acute care setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of the fast-paced and complex nature of healthcare delivery. Your passion for providing high-quality care will ensure your success as you strive to meet the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of your patients. You will approach every patient with empathy and compassion, offering a caring and supportive environment that promotes their overall well-being.

In addition to your clinical skills, your ability to advocate for patients will be essential in ensuring they receive the best care possible. You will support and empower patients and their families, helping them to make informed decisions about their healthcare journey. Strong communication skills are crucial as you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless coordination and continuity of care across all departments.   • *Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position. All payments made to part time employees will be on a pro-rata basis.   • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
