We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Lake Macquarie or Newcastle Community Mental Health Centre teams. Whether you’re experienced in mental health or eager to expand your skills in this vital area, you’ll be supported by a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, growth, and person-centred care.
Mental health is a growing and impactful area of healthcare, where your work can transform lives. In this role, you will provide recovery-oriented care to individuals living in the community, helping them achieve better health and well-being outcomes.
About the role:
As a Registered Nurse in our community mental health team, you will:
- Deliver compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed care
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and peer workers
- Conduct mental health assessments and support recovery planning
- Engage therapeutically with consumers, their families, and support networks
- Contribute to care coordination and community outreach initiatives
- Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
