Where you'll be working:
The successful applicants for these casual positions will be available to work across a range of locations: Taree Community Health, Forster Community Health, Bulahdelah Community Health Services, Gloucester Community Health and Aged Care Services.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team including Community Nursing, Wound Specialist Nurse, Palliative Care, Cardiac & Respiratory Rehabilitation, Continence, Dietetics, Diabetes, Wound Management Clinics, Audiometry, Aged Care Assessment Team, Dementia Nurse, Psychogeriatrics, Nurse Practitioner and Allied Health Services.



About the role:

The successful applicant will be providing a range of nursing services including:
  • Community Nursing – Wound Management, Palliative Care Nursing.
  • Hospital in the Home Nursing – supporting patient early discharge from an inpatient setting by Nursing patients in their home.
  • Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) – providing a home-based therapy and nursing program for older people transitioning from an inpatient stay.


In this role you will be supported by various experienced professionals including the Nurse Unit Manager; and for speciality tasks you will be further supported by the Wound Management Specialist, Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultant and Clinical Nurse Educator. Education and training opportunities will be supported if they are appropriate to the core business of the role.



About you:

We are searching for highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurses with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who apply evidence based practice and critical thinking, with the ability to implement individualised person centred care.

You will need to have good organisational, time management and task prioritising skills, be caring and motivated with a positive team work ethic.


Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
