Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. An opportunity is now available to join the Renal - Acute Medical Ward at Nepean Hospital. Your role as the Registered Nurse will work collaboratively to provide safe, compassionate, person-centred health care in collaboration with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams.

Registered Nurses aim to meet the needs of staff, patients and their families by providing exceptional person-centered care whilst working in a diverse team. What you will bring to this role

  1. Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
  3. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
  4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  5. Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  7. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.
