Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing 
To work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team utilising professional skills and ability to contribute to client centred care to meet the client’s individual health care needs, with the aim of maintaining and/or improving their health.

To provide nursing assessment, care coordination, evidence based best practice clinical intervention, monitoring, maintenance and education to clients and their carers/families in the community.

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration: Current Registered Nurse division 1 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:  

  1. Relevant clinical experience in speciality.
  2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
  3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, evidence-based practice, and an awareness of changes within the health care environment.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with consumers, families and carers in a time of high levels of family stress.
  6. Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work independently.
  7. Demonstrate ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training
  8. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willingness to use for work purposes.
