About the opportunities:
Medical Unit:
As part of our dedicated medical team, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, with a strong focus on supporting their families throughout their healthcare journey. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' health needs, developing personalised care plans, and implementing them effectively. Collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team will be crucial to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Successful candidates will receive support from the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) and Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), with access to after-hours assistance from a CNE. Day-to-day tasks will encompass direct patient care such as feeding and showering, accepting transfers from other facilities, coordinating discharges to nursing homes, and liaising with discharge planners or home caregivers when appropriate. Effective communication with and support for families will also be a significant aspect of your role.
Operating Theatres:
We are is seeking an experienced Circulating / Instrument Nurse to join our Team. Our Operating Theatres perform elective day only surgeries within the specialties of General, Endoscopy, Urology, Laser Urology, Gynaecology, Dental, and Orthopaedics. This role would suit someone who wants to work Monday – Friday with shifts rotating between the hours of 7.30am to 6.30pm. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a secondment from your current position, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role in the future.. Experience in the Circulating and Instrument roles is essential in securing this position.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
