About the role:
New Graduate Midwives will be providing safe, compassionate, and woman-centred care within the maternity and gynaecology service ensuring care is delivered in partnership with women and their families through all phases of pregnancy, labour and birth, and the postnatal period.

There will be the opportunity to rotate through all areas of maternity services including high-risk antenatal, antenatal clinic, birth suite, and postnatal services. This will allow you to consolidate the learning and experiences gained during the Midwifery Training Program. You'll be on a 7-day roster including a variety of shifts. Some areas of maternity services offer 12-hour shifts for staff for work-life balance. This would be for discussion with the individual managers of the unit.
