About the role:
Step into a dynamic role within a Level 2 rural maternity unit, often as the sole midwife supported by an on-call team. Collaborate with RMs, RNs, students, GP/Obs, Allied Health, and the AMIHS unit to provide holistic, woman-centred care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal settings in a GP/Obstetrician shared-care model.
Balance the challenges of varied, fast-paced days with opportunities to enhance your skills through ongoing education and support from experienced colleagues and leadership.
Embrace a collaborative approach to delivering safe, effective, and breastfeeding-friendly care while occasionally assisting in ED within your scope.

- You may qualify for a $20,000 sign-on bonus if you have moved (evidence required) from MM1-2 (metro) location, interstate or internationally to work in our district. Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
