- Must hold registration with Medical Radiation Practitioner Board as a Diagnostic Radiographer, and/or Graduate Diploma of Mammography or equivalent qualifications.
- Demonstrated commitment to actively pursuing continuing professional development (CPD), including holding a Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography (CCPM) or willingness to undertake.
- Demonstrated ability to work both in an unsupervised capacity and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of the BreastScreen Australia Program and an understanding of the philosophy of population screening.
- Demonstrable experience or willingness to learn all aspects of mammography, mammographic & technical quality control procedures, imaging services, comprehensive understanding of BreastScreen Information System (BIS) and RIS/PACS.
