What you'll be doing 
As a Radiation Therapist, you will deliver precise, compassionate radiation therapy treatments and planning services, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care throughout their treatment journey.

  • Provide accurate radiation therapy planning and treatment services as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists
  • Engage proactively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-focused care
  • Operate and manage advanced radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Educate patients and carers on treatment procedures, side effects, and care management strategies
  • Participate in quality assurance, professional development, and research activities to continually advance practice

How to Apply

Essential Criteria:

  • License: EPA Radiation User Licence
  • Registration: AHPRA registration as Medical Radiation Therapist

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of modern radiation therapy with excellent underpinning knowledge
  2. Demonstrate excellent communication skills in written, oral and electronic formats and an ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
  3. Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls, including radiation safety measures in radiation therapy
  4. Demonstrated proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  5. Demonstrated interest in continuing professional development, research and quality improvement activities
  6. Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care
  7. Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
