Radiation Therapist Level 2

Selection criteria to be addressed:

1. Bachelor’s degree in medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy) or Bachelor of Applied Science or qualification deemed equivalent by employer; General Registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist by Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority and holder of IA13 and S13 Radiation User Licence (NSW EPA Licence).
2. Recent and demonstrated sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of modern Image Guided Radiation Therapy, including online CBCT review with Soft Tissue matching.
3. Recent and demonstrated experience and technical skills in advanced Planning techniques, incorporating multi-modality image registration for techniques such as IMRT and VMAT.
4. Demonstrated evidence of contribution to a high functioning team that encourages collaboration, participation and respect in shared team goals.
5. Dedicated commitment in providing excellent and safe individual patient care, balanced against providing an efficient service for all patients.
6. Demonstrated excellent communication skills in written, verbal and electronic formats.
7. Demonstrated knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls, including radiation safety.
8. Active involvement in Continuing Professional Development and Training activities of self and others.
