Remuneration: $84,436 - $112,331 per annum / $42.58 - $56.65 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 / 28.5
Location: Westmead Hospital

What you'll be doing

  • Sydney Cell and Gene Therapy (SCGT) is a joint venture of translational researchers involved in the development of advanced therapeutics in the areas of cellular therapy, antibiotic resistance, islet transplantation and gene therapy.
  • The Quality Officer will support operational and quality management activities related to cell and gene therapy product manufacture and clinical trials.

Selection Criteria

  1. Bachelor of Science Degree in the physical or biological sciences or extensive equivalent experience.
  2. Demonstrated experience in clinical research or clinical service provision, in biological or pharmaceutical development and experience in quality assurance.
  3. Understanding of regulatory requirements for cell and gene therapies.
  4. Excellent organisational, record keeping and project management skills.
  5. Advanced computer system skills and experience with electronic quality management software such as Q-Pulse (Ideagen).
  6. Proven excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills within a multidisciplinary environment.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
