The Opportunity 

HealthShare NSW is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Purchasing Team Leader, this role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate purchasing functions that meet organizational and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, logistics, or a shared services environment, with a strong understanding of government regulations and purchasing procedures.  

As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for processing requisitions, placing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. A key focus of the role is providing high-level customer service by responding to inquiries via phone, email, and service desk requests while escalating high-risk matters when necessary.
