About the role
This position provides an exciting opportunity for a Psychologist interested in working full-time, in a community mental health team, in particular those interested in working with our Adult population.
Bathurst Community mental Health comprises of a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Psychology, Social Work, and Psychiatry with amazing support from an established team of senior clinicians. Providing a mix of acute care and clinical management, this is an excellent opportunity to implement and develop your skills and interest in mental health, including acute assessment, critical thinking, rapport building and providing therapeutic interventions.
The Bathurst Community Mental Health team provides a range of services to consumers with a varying range of Mental Health conditions. These treatments include brief intervention, complex case management, and specialised therapies including DBT, CBT-e, SSCM and EMDR.
All staff have access to regular Clinical Supervision and support, as well as daily multi-disciplinary case review meetings. The Bathurst Community Mental Health Service values staff wellbeing and supports regular staff wellness activities to maintain positive workplace culture.
This position is open to provisional psychology applicant, registered psychologists, and senior psychologists.
