Selection Criteria:
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- Registered with The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and/or equivalent overseas pathway.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in ENT and/or base of skull surgery; tertiary paediatric experience desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment, utilising excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
- Excellent communication skills with leadership and teamwork skills and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care.
- Demonstrated good time management and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities and liaise effectively with other health professionals.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education, research and quality improvement, including demonstrated commitment for clinical and academic teaching of Medical Students, Junior medical staff and other clinical staff in theatres, clinics and at formal teaching sessions.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education, research and quality improvement.
