Sydney Local Health District is seeking a highly motivated Provisional Fellow in Otology, and Skull base Surgery at the Ear Nose and Throat Surgery department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
What you will be doing:
The position is a clinical and research, full time position at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with a full ENT Clinical load, but majoring in Otology, advanced rhinology, and skull base surgery. The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at RPAH
The department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at RPAH has a proud tradition of excellence in ENT care of all patients, teaching, research, and teamwork. Excellent surgical outcomes come from minimally invasive techniques such as endoscopic ear and sinus surgery, collaboration in skull base surgery with the World Class head and neck surgery team, and from a very collegiate department.
Where you will be working:
Principally you will be based at RPAH main campus, attached to the University of Sydney. You will also be part of an after hours on call roster that covers RPAH and Concord Hospital (another teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and Sydney Local Health District).

- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Successful completion of relevant college examinations (FRACS,FRCS, FACS).
- Ability to prioritise, organise, meet multiple demands and to effectively work as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of publications and presentations.
- Interest in pursuing a subspecialty appointment in Otology / Skull Base surgery on completion of Fellowship.
- Interest and ability to participate in a teaching program and ability to conduct research
- Completion or very near completion of specialist ENT training.
