About the role

The Property and Facilities Coordinator co-ordinates the projects and day-to-day operations for the Ministry of Health to ensure front line service delivery are provided in a compliant, timely and effective manner. The role manages procurement, scheduling, reporting, administration, team processes, compliance, site access/security and lease administration. Being part of a team with experts in the fields of project management, facilities management, property/asset management and heritage, the role will be able to lean on the team for guidance and support while developing their career.
Health Manager level 1, starting salary from $84,436 - $112,331 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38-hour work week.
What you will do
- Effectively manage operational issues to ensure continuous service delivery and a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused work culture.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of Facilities ensuring optimal levels of service delivery including but not limited to instruct, supervise, evaluate and support facility management resources and third-party service providers for facility services.
- Assist with the preparation of reports relating to finance, operations, property and other issues
- Maintain effective workplace safety policies and practices for a safe working environment for staff and visitors and compliance with OH&S policy, statutory requirements, tenancy conditions and security.
- Prepare and manage facility, project and property related databases.
- Interpret, monitor and evaluate facilitates standards, procedures and policies relating to facilities management including the proposal and implementation of common facilities standards and initiatives to best practice and optimise space
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- An understanding of facilities management, property management, and/or procurement preferable, not essential.
- Ability to navigate complex organization policies and procedures.
- Strong interest to develop property, facility and project management skills.
- Well-developed communication skills, verbal and written including drafting reports and briefs.
- Ability to travel between sites as required.
