How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health profession or social sciences (or relevant work experience) and understanding of the principles of communication access for people with communication disability.
  2. Previous change management and project management experience involving development, monitoring and evaluation of project plans.
  3. Proven leadership experience in a large and complex organisation.
  4. Demonstrated experience in effective negotiation and communication skills across a range of stakeholders
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with people with communication disabilities, families, carers and health care professionals, with knowledge of issues facing these stakeholders in metropolitan and rural communities.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and highly developed and effective management skills.
  7. High level computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite as well as an understanding of different methods of training delivery.
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment, and the willingness to travel to locations across SWSLHD and across NSW
