Selection Criteria

  1. A degree in a relevant field, clinical experience working in the Child and Family/ health related field and current drivers licence.
  2. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership skills including consultation, negotiation, supporting and mentoring.
  3. Knowledge and understanding of Early Childhood policy and practice in relation to the importance of early intervention.
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing programs with multiple stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines within defined resources and capacity to anticipate, respond and resolve complex and critical issues.
  6. Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, particularly in reporting, consultation, and the ability to negotiate and communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Demonstrated understanding of the health response to prior to school screening and excellent knowledge of associated health pathways.
  8. Experience in using office computer systems, word-processing, power point and spreadsheets with the ability to monitor performance measures.
